Sales and Marketing Manager

Phillips Sign & Lighting is looking for a Multi-faceted individual to lead our sales team and expand our market share with effective marketing campaigns. You will have tremendous opportunities to develop innovative policies and campaigns that help shape the future of our organization. Candidates for this role will be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of  salespeople with room to grow as needed
  • Oversee day-to-day sales lead distribution, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
  • Work with the sales team to ensure all company procedures are closely followed
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much more
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Develop marketing budget
  • Monitor competitor sales and marketing activity
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Event planning, vendor coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum BA in Business and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast pace while remaining flexible
  • Experience with CRM software
